Responsibility
A time I was given a responsibility that I thought I could not handle was when my aunt asked me to babysit my two little cousins. I thought that the night was going to be complete chaos, but it was not. My cousins are two children that do not listen to anything someone tells then to do. I was determined to have a great night with them. The first thing we did when my aunt left was cooked a huge meal for the three of us. I made the main main course, which was grilled chicken. One of my cousins made the sides, which was corn on the cob, rice, and salad. My other cousin made dessert, which was brownies and cookies. We enjoyed cooking and eating the food. After that we just layed in the living room and watched Netflix for the rest of the night. Nothing wild happened at all and I was happy about that. When my aunt got home the kids were sleeping and I just relaxed for the rest of the night.

Advice
A bit of advice I would give to the next class since I have taken the OGT's is to not stress over them because if they put their mind to it they will pass them. I would also tell them to not rush through any OGT because there's of time for each one. Another tip I would give them is to look over every OGT two or three times after they are done because they might have made a mistake that was not seen the first time they answered a question. I would also tell them to think positive about the test because if they go into the test with a negative attitude chance are they may not succeed. Finally, if they are feeling as if they are being rushed stay calm and work to their full potential because the outcome will be great.

Desperate
One time my friend and I set up plans to go to the movies. Everything was set up perfectly, the time I was going to pick him up, what movie we were going to see, how long we would be there, and who was giving us a ride home. I called my friend to let him know I was on my way to pick him up to go. Once we got to the movies, we got our tickets, went and got popcorn, then finally went into the cinema. After a couple hours of watching the movie we got bored and tired of watching it, so we went movie hopping. I knew it was wrong to and there was a chance we were going to get caught, but I didn't care. We went and watched about 3 different movies, joking around and laughing, until we got caught. From that moment on, the night went downhill. We had gotten kicked out of the movie theatre. He called his mom and let her know what happened, but since she was so mad, she didn't come and pick us up. I called my mom, but she fell asleep and didn't answer. We thought we were stranded, so we went around asking people to give us rides home. Finally we found two girls who thought we were cute and hung out with them for the night. The outcome of us hanging out was great because they gave us a ride home.

Trust Me
One time I have had someone trust me was when I had to watch my cousin, while my aunt and uncle went out to eat. My aunt understands that I am responsible and smart enough to treat my cousin right. I enjoy being around my cousin, so that is why I think my aunt chose me to watch her. My little cousin is very easy to get along with because she is energetic and outgoing. Throughout the night my aunt checked up on me and her because she was a little worried about how she was doing, but that is completely understandable. I had to cook my cousin dinner and that was fun too because she helped me. She was so excited to cook with her older cousin. She also was happy when she found out I was going to be babysitting her. The whole night turned out to be good and my aunt asked me to babysit again, whenever I could.

Academic
Though it is difficult for me to succeed, I have accomplished a couple tasks this school year. My first accomplishment is doing phenomenally better in World History. I have never seemed to like history, but this year I enjoy it. I am also doing better because I pay attention during class and participate when asked to. My other accomplishment this year is learning a little bit of Spanish. I went into this year know no Spanish whatsoever, but now I know some. I am in Spanish class on time every day, paying attention, so I feel that is an accomplishment. Since I know that I am capable of accomplishing things, I set goals that I plan on fulfilling before the 10th grade year is over.
